President Obama, in remarks following a meeting of his National Security Staff regarding anti-ISIL efforts, addresses the criticism about his refusal to use the term “radical Islam.”

President Barack Obama stood up in front of the United Nations general assembly in New York Wednesday morning and gave his address about the Islamic State threat to the Middle East and to countries everywhere. While US fighter jets and Navy warships fire cruise missiles at ISIS targets in Syria, he called it a crossroads between war and peace.
That’s just a short part of Obama’s speech to the UN. Throughout the rest of the week, we’ll go through the rest of the speech, giving us a closer look at Obama’s vision for the US and the world.
